Hot and humid in Philadelphia

June 9, 2007

I’m almost completely moved in and settled in West Philadelphia. Imagine, just moving 20 blocks to the west and you feel like you’re in a completely different city. So far so good. My internet was hooked up today, and it’s amazing how much I’ve missed reading craft blogs and the like.

In the mess of my moving adventures, I’ve misplaced my digital camera full of pictures from a recent beach trip. Instead, I sit in my new apartment, with lots of windows, covered in paint from painting chairs earlier today, finishing crochet projects.

Still reeling from the emotional events of the past month and a half. Trying not to think of things. Trying not to miss people. Trying not to be down on myself and sinking back into the depths of heartbreak. Harder than one can imagine. Especially when you’re more wounded than ever before.

I’ve totally been there. It’s hard to see it now and I never believe it when I’m nursing a broken heart but amazing things and new people are in store for you.

Always remember this…women are better and men are just pigs. We don’t need them, they need us. Whatever you need, I’ve been through it all – I am there for you, even when you think that no one cares.
