Happy Halloween

October 31, 2007

At 25, I’ve found myself at an unenthusiastic stage in regards to Halloween. Maybe it’s the over hype for something that never turned out to be that fun in High School. Maybe it’s the shyness/nervousness factor coupled with dressing up as something else, which results in people staring at you a lot. Regardless, today is Halloween, whether I participate in all its costumey hoopla or not.

Last year, around this time, I crocheted a few pumpkins for some friends.

Teensy and cute. And bright orange, of course. I was so into reading and attempting amigurumi last year. This year, I’m back on the knitting obsession again. Still plugging away at the first socks, which I can hopefully finish one of this evening, while drinking coffee on South Street. Nice and laid back. Just the way I like it.

Have a great Halloween!
